  1. Thanks for the complimentAcrochicken but all credit for the coolness must go to Gary Howard & Jimmie Vaughan upon whose car the model I show was replicated. Guess I could'nt help myself at the time- it's probably close to one of my 10 favourite customs. I like that the model is a '65 though.
Was it a 2" chop & 4" fr. fender/ hood extension ? Those guys are good..

    Jigger- High High heels- Bitchin'.

Wow. I sat down at the computer, loaded Powerslave into the drive, opened up this thread, and was very surprised to see Eddie! Awesome work.

Do you mean something like this kustom dictionary from Mike Streff in the 1982 Car Exchange magazine?

  11. Rino record's "Hot Rod & Custom Classics" comes with a great book that briefly bios the Hot Rod movement. It has a nice, comprehensive term glossary in the back.
If you can still find it, it's worth the money.

Forty, I'm gonna get into that Falcon shortly. I think Hubert Platt's '65 is why I'm so taken with these cars. To me, that was the coolest looking and running funny back then. I have old movies on VHS I bought somewhere with that car launching off the line...WAY COOL!!! Here's a 'toon I did a while back in honor of that car.

The pencil work through page 4 is awesome.

Some art deco inspired poker chips I designed for when I can afford them:

  16. A Lace job, every bit of it done in powder coating. approx. 10 layers or more in this tank and fender. First time ever doing lace and probably the first ever done in powder. hope ya like it.
