Not really sure if it's "hot rod-related" or not but here's a faux motorcycle plate. All 1-Shot on a CAT-yellow-painted steel plate.

  9. I've pulled the piece from my first post.
Thanks GaryC- i'm not directly affected- I fought the big one of '83. This one is worse still- 8000+ homeless.

Here's an idea for a tough Merc.

Here's a tool box i did for my girlfriend last year. she's always wanted her own tools, so as part of here birthday gift, i bought here a tool box and a starter set of the essentials; screw drivers, a small socket set, pliers, etc.

The box was black, and way too new looking so i hazed in in rusto red, and wet sanded it back down. Then, since i don't know any stripers locally, and i was on a super short time table, i designed her name, and some striping and had it cut in vinyl , Believe it or not, they actually have a real gold leaf vinyl, but to me, nothing replaces getting it hand done. Oh well.
Long story short, she loves it, which make me a happy guy.

The pics don't exactly do it justice: the red lettering is super glossy against the matte finish of the box, so the letters and striping really pop.

Did you get her the tools so she'd fix the toaster oven and get her ass back in the kitchen???

Just kidding, looks sweet! I buy my wife tools too, but her tool box sucks compared to that.

  25. Dig the fleety Zombie.
I drew this sometime in the previous 72 hours. The bed is similair to the aussie '56 bed which was a fleetside with a pressed fender. So this is a re-skin.
The hard part is the fadeaways and finding a big window !
