It's not really art. Just doodling/brain storming for my truck while I was grading papers yesterday.

  8. I haven't posted anything in a while; the weeks just are flying by, so dug out some old transparencies of old car renderings that I drew 28 years ago; 1981, and had the images transferred to disc.

Here's the first one of ten that I hope are H.A.M.B friendly:

Sorry about the washed out image (the color of the car is actually gray, rather than black)............back then I used to go to various car shows in and around Washington, D.C. and photograph the cars. The image was then projected and traced onto tracing tissue, where I added a figure from my clip file (a Playboy magazine ad). Then that drawing was transferred to Clearprint vellum, and with a lupe, I started rendering. Each rendering usually took about 20/22 hours to complete, start to finish. AD art Markers, Prismacolor & Verithin colored pencils, Nupastel pastels, gouache on 18 x 24 inch Clearprint vellum.

  17. your not that wrong!!!!

  18. I always take my time and store away the cool stuff for use one day, occasionally incorporating an idea into one of my bikes. Here is a 3 month build of an early 50's Shelby-Airflo. It now runs a 7 speed internal geared hub and Red line Quick Brick tires on Sun Double Wide wheels. Can't wait for a brake cable to see how fast she'll go!

  23. Cool bike! I'm really bummed that I wasn't able to save the two 50's bikes from my grandparents when they passed. I don't know what they were but they were something similar.
    Nice work everyone else.

Hingeman Kustoms that bike is sick! Did you have to modify the frame at all to run the Quick Bricks? I have been wanting a set of Thick Bricks for a J.C. Higgins I got but I think they might be too wide..

Anyways here is a new one from me this week. Drawn for some damn good guys in Eau Claire WI.
