Heres one more I didnt think Id get done today...but finished it up a little while ago...tried doing this without black outlining...experimenting a bit.

Reminds me of an old car hood sled, Just by looking and not knowing, It could have been used to drag in the winters wood or kids could have rode on it or that may not have been what it was at all, but its neat. I like it a lot!

 

she went out back and took a bunch of photos of "rusty things" then chose the image, made the print, cut the mat and put it in the frame and gave it to me for my birthday. matches the colors in the room. i think she did an amazing job.

 

I'm running late this week! This one's inspired by Clark's '34.. I need to refine the details (and add Chevy hood sides).

From 1986 I believe, maybe earlier... My boss at the time had a nice, mildly modified ’65 drop top.

One more last minute contribution. I guess all the great artwork you guys post inspired met to get off my **** tonight and finish this one that has been laying around by the easel for a few weeks. Painted entirely with a palette knife. I know only other artists appreciate this kind of style but I enjoy painting them.

Cool concept, That would also make a cool "bodied" FED or funny car or whatever one would call it, with big meats on the back etc.
