    Refining the dream.
I've draw cars like this for three years.
I like where it is now. One of these days, with luck, I'll build it.

Bad ass bobber GaryC! I dig the trifecta of deuces, too.

Hotrd32- great photo...now leave that deuce parked on my driveway for awhile, will ya?

    Buick59- sweet photos!!!!

Here's my finished helmet up for auction at Vintage Torquefest on may 1st...all proceeds from the auction go to Help Hannahs Heart trust! Hope to see a lot of you there and hope the helmets bring a lot of money for such a great cause!

One of the great things about California is El Mirage Dry Lake. I've had motorcycles and cars at top speed there and it really does look like there's water on the horizon in the distance. It's a little hairy at full bore with all the cracks and holes and bumps but I sure admire others who go even faster. There's a meet coming up in May. This old Indian might even be there.

Build it Gary C, build it! It must be built! Buick 59: Those cool interior shots make me want to drive.

Hotrd32- I love the "right at home" feeling of the shot!

Buick59- Crisp and classy as always!

ToddJ- I completely agree with Buick59, coolest take on the flying eye I've ever seen!

BOMONSTER- I love the texture to all your work...killer style!

Here's my work for the week, just an illustration based off of an old song...

Very impressive work. The only thing I could do with a torch would burn holes in metal or set my garage on fire.

    Todd that is amazing!!!

All the artists that have been contributing to the art show - THANK YOU.

We will auction off a few of these helmets at the show.........the auction at the show will only be for about 10-15 items overall. I dont wanna bog down the show with too much of this kind of stuff.

Ryan has agreed to auction some off on the HAMB as well.

Example: Mr Norwell wont be able to complete his helmet for the show - but said he still wants to contribute. So most likely we will auction his off here on the HAMB.
What I am hoping is that each artist will get to have a HAMB mini gallery and do a small profile of what they are all about - show some of their other work and auction the helmet off at the same time.

This way the auction will not only focus on the helmet - but the artists OTHER work as well.

There are about 10 of you that still need to get the helmets complete and for those of you that want to bring them to the show- that is acceptable..........
but obviously the ones that live far away - I need these helmets here no later than the 27th. I will not be here at the house after that date and I will not have access to the computer either.

Thanks for all the time you artists have contributed.

We really appreciate it and I hope that everyone enjoys checking these out in person as much as I have.

  25. 'He wanted a Rod- 'hot Cargo'

    Watercolour 11x7

Painted on- site ( Port Adelaide).
The hot rod is loosely based on a '32 Ford from the 70's which was built in Mudgee ( out- country New South Wales). It wound up being re- jigged by a fella in the Regency Ramblers Hot Rod club out of Sydney, around 75?.
The ship in this painting was in our harbour (Adelaide) yesterday, picking up grain. It had a middle- East-ish tag. This is the second time i've painted at this location.

I dig that this car was a duece. I dig the country- built hot- rods of old, which were completed without credit cards or aftermarket parts. The imperative of getting the damn thing hauling down THE ROAD often dictated how they looked.
