heres what i did saterday......my first lowrider...
lots of gold, and blues.....my first real attempt at scroll work...

customer was happy...

also im stoked, im pinstriping a 1926 restored ACE motorcycle this weekend..so look for those pics next week!!

I have been doing some way OT stuff lately but I did find some time to paint the tailgate of my truck. Hope you like the progression pics.

Hi all,
This is my first post of my work on the Friday art show. Last week I asked you all for the favor of making me a poster for a HAMB car show we are putting together this weekend (mothers day) and I came up with one myself. I am proud of the concept I came up with but would appreciate any comments and critiques. I am also working on pasting the photo directly into the post and not the click on attachment type. Thanks!


Oh, and by the way stop in to the show, we would love to see you there!

I spent the week shooting seven off topic motorcycles, and five off topic cars.


I did get lucky to take these though thanks rob for letting me shoot it

 

Here's some stuff i've been working on this week.

The panel is flat black with gloss black and red striping.
I think the gloss on the flat gives it almost a 3d look.

A "car show for the benefit of Jay Leno"? Is he ill?

 

Here's a quick snapshot of some recent work. I posted it during the round up but I recently updated the color.


This is a marker pen rendering of a man who bought this Harley knuckle head new in 1946, and owned for 62 years, until he passed away dec '08. the artwork was done for his family ,as a memory of the man and his machine;in his favorite boots and levis that he lived in . waldo.

 

Reminds me of "Battle of the Network Stars".
Regurgitated from what we did for the DS Exotic show....

Its to return the favor of putting on two free comedy relief shows in the town of Wilmington. Small one company town, DHL moved out causing a loss of thousands of jobs.
