I did a set of these caps and a plaque for a car that ran at Trog this past June. Unfortunately they didn't make it onto the car in time. I had a blast designing and casting them however.

 

Have been meaning to share these vintage pieces, on this thread for years.
All done, in the early 70's, by my Brother, "MATO" (MrTomatohead)
I believe he was attending the Cooper Art School, in downtown Cleveland. I was barely 9, he would have been 21?

I love that you guys have kept these all these years. I wish I had some of my really early work. Cool stuff, I love the Cord rendering. The truck reminds me of a caricature I did of a GMC COE and trailer. I still have it somewhere. I also like the song lyrics. we think a lot alike, your brother and I. ( I was 7 in ’70.)
