here are some photos that I found in a folder named HAMB calendar 2007. I don't know if I posted them here.

this was Bakersfield. I must have seen 10 other people who took this same photo.

Another great week for the F.A.S..just like the art that you guys post here, all great car builds start as just a vision and that's why art and hot rods go hand and hand....Great work everyone!

For those who mentioned the lack of a stickie I have been watching the FAS for years and the participation IS way down. There used to be 6+ pages of postings, this week 2 (and not even a full 2). I have to wonder if all the image stealing/legal copyright issues have scared artists away? The uploaded files are now public domain and any artist who makes a living this way is not going to put their stuff out there to be right-click-save-ripped-off. I still look forward to the FAS but I just wish that times were not a changing.

The art does get stolen but not because it becomes “public domain”. It is still, in fact, copyright protected and, by no means, public domain even if shared on a public sight. In fact, it is a published image at that point. People need to remain vigilant and help one another out when they see that artists' work has been infringed upon. those thieves are just a “Cease and Desist” away. I have posted work on the HAMB for nearly a decade now, knowing the risk. It sucks that unscrupulous people comb the web looking for images to steal and rebrand as their own but it sucks more that people use it as a deterrent from sharing their work with likeminded enthusiasts in a close-knit community like the HAMB. Thanks to all who continue to join in each week and to all new comers.
Much of the drop off has been since the HAMB sight changed from the V-Builtin format and moved to mobile friendly cyber-space along with the social media sights. Go there and voice up. Maybe some folks will come back. Petition for the sticky, maybe that will help as well.
Still grateful to have the forum.

Event t-shirt from last week's local car show. Nice turn out with some very well done vehicles (the Camaro that won this year's 'Best of Show', and will be on next year's t-shirt, came from 90 miles away). Fun day all around.

Digital art work by me and then direct-to-garment printed.
