Rat Fink lunch and a Plankton Beer.
Just finished these. Paint is still wet so the outlines are still there. Hardware not put back on lunch box either- thats why it looks a little wierd in the middle. Friday art show rocks!

Nope, no one's style in particular. I just had a particular "look" I wanted to achieve, and went for it.

All in all, a great show everyone!

Hey Dutch, your "red period" struck a chord with me. I stomped off (not really) determined to not touch a bit of red paint. It got me motivated so I started another painting this afternoon and got it done. It's not red Ha! This one I did with Candy Green. The scanner was not able for some reason to pick up the rich green color that it actually has. What looks black is actually dark green.

  15. Hey all,

I'm posting this artwork for a new HAMB'r that hasn't gotten used to posting pics yet.

This is the work of Chad Lampert of Battlecreek, Mi. Chad is a signmaker and owner of Cereal City Signworks there and a very talented illustrator. I first met him at the Detroit Autorama last January. I was bowled over by what he donated to their art auction.

He's a super good guy, high quality individual. I'll let his work speak for it's self. Multi media...

Damn it! I go away for a few hours and this place loads up with mega tons of MORE great art!

toad32- as if the 3D renderings ain't cool enuff man! The different color schemes are a knockout! I am particularly fond of the dark beige version and the ivory one as well. Incredible!
    McPhail- Wickedly fantastic man! Damn!
PDQ VW- I love your' toon style and the pic of Lemorris and his bug are excellent!
fortypickup!- love the toons and can't wait to see the next level.
corngrower32- love the B&W work! Stylin!
Dutch! Yet another killer one! Love the Santa Rosa Suede.
    Luckystrike-Excellent signage and striping!

Here's my meager offering for this week. A ballpoint pen sketch I did at work (on the clock) when I shoulda been working!

Peter Pan of Chicago- Thanks for posting Chad's work for all to see. CHAD- those pics rock! Great style and excellent use of multimedia!

  27. Just too many great pieces to be far and equitable with the ol' at-a-boys, and girl.
I will, how ever mention 4 Janne ( Hubba-hubba), Chad Lampert, Patty, bring us more.
Todd, that ink thing is off the hook cool. Frame it and seal it and auction it off for a worthy cause, 'cause it's worthy of it.

You all amaze me, thanks to all for sharing the wealth of you talent.
