First, as promised Denise, your light switch cover.

Second is a bottle with a religious theme.

Cool stuff as usual all. I don't think I have posted this one yet. A little Chebby action. This one really looks nice out in the sunlight. I used gold paint thinly mixed onto a clear coat on the car, and it sparkles like a white metalflake paintjob.

Zombie, that shoebox is drop-dead gorgeous! Love the scallops and pin-up gal. I think I finally found the inspiration for the 1st tattoo!

    Thanks,
    Tom - Glass_Packs

Great stuff as usual from lots of talented folks. Here's something that I'm currently working on. Still got some lettering and background details but I THINK the fink is done. I might feel deferently after a little nap.

  15. Another outstanding show! The work here is beyond inspirational. Thanks to all who post. I did this panel last week for the Pinstripe Legends auction up in Milwaukee in January at the WOW. I scanned an old mag, stuck it to .080 aluminum and striped it. According to Pat Ganahl in his book about Von Dutch this particular issue featured the first occurrence of pinstriping on a feature car in HRM and the car was from Indiana!

How do you make/take picture like this, is this photoshopped a bit?

I'm strapped into a harness hanging out the back of a small pickup. I use a Canon 20D camera. This was the middle of the day so there was to much light for a long exposure. I doubled up two density filters on top of each other to bring the light down and set my exposure to 1/8 of a second at f/4, 100 ISO. You hhave to do a long enough exposure to get those wheels to really spine. We were doing about 50 mph. The tough thing is dealing with camera shack. You have to hold it as still as possible and take LOTS of shots. I took about 75 to get this one. And no, no photoshop.

I'm impressed. I wish my first 50 efforts looked half that good!

Incredible! That has got to be one of the ultimate ways of photographing a car.
