what program are you guys using to create the "digital" art?

  4. First time I've dusted off the brushes in months. A little nod to MC Escher...

I wasn't paying attention and I had a trip booked this past weekend, I would have liked to have made it to Brush Rush North. I'd like to meet some other Canuck stripers/painters.

Thank you! And you're correct, it's a great show!

  8. Big A that's cool...love to have that one hanging in my office...now maybe do one with the Rat Fink go up or down the stairs...depending on how you perceive it...don't let those brushes get dusty again!

  9. Big A, a bunch of us stripers all get togeather from time to time, to hang out and paint, be sure to keep in touch!!

we have bbq's and all kinds of excuses, to paint togeather!

  10. Keep me in the loop John. Don't know what the hell I'm doing, but I'm eager :D

I feel bad. I forgot to mention Typikal in my post. I know there is a lot of hard work in those colored pencil renderings. They look awesome.

  16. I use Photoshop but I really don't know that much about it. The more you mess around the better unless you take some type of class.

    Escher was a genius.

Don't forget Billetproof, June 6. Bring your brushes.

There is another panel jam at Shannonville, in July.
Thrall and Swag are putting it together.

Are all the art shows typically like this!? Great stuff with a wide diversity. It's definitely something to look forward to at the end of the week, eh? (No, I'm not Canadian).

  24. Cool show! Havn't got anything new that I can show yet so I thought I'd comment on some of you guys:

Bernie - Very cool painting; I think I see room for a driver's head looking at us from the helm of that '29 roadster...
GaryC. - Can't believe how you keep cranking out that bitchin' stuff at this pace!
FortyPickUp - The Tall T cartoon made me laugh; love it!
Typikal - Man that's some awesome stuff again Ben; crazy good!
Spoggie - Dig your stuff a lot but the crappy images you post don't do the artwork justice...
Todd - Acro's van is killer; Can't wait to see what your rendering will look like when it's done!
Jigger - Cool Roadrunner Mark; love your loose style.
Lemorris - Another traditional-non-HAMB great piece, even if this VeeDub doesn't have the semaphores...
Pacheco - Shirts sure look good Gabe.
Squindo - Love everything you do.
WideWhiteWalls - Cool logo for your GowCart; now quit the work-avoidance and get on with that build!
ShoeBoxke - Keep up the good work Percy and see ya at S.I.N.S...
rbantique - Don't forget to mention Von Franco. The cracked glass looks very authentic..
AgentWaldo - Cool, would love to see new stuff from you.
CrackerNutz - Illustrator, CorelDraw, Freehand for vector work. Painter, Photoshop for pixel work.
Big A - Escher would dig that as much as we do!
Sander - I mucho love everything you post.
Fatt Stripes, G V Gordon, Neo Dutch, Rollie, BigNick1959, MetalHotRodGirl, Bman416, Jeppa, ZombieHut, TimeBombKustoms, ElFlammeur, MASK, Big A, PsychoArts - I always enjoy seeing the striping, lettering an flake-ing from you guys; whether you're just starting out or have been at it for years... I just wish I could do what you do!

Thanks also to those who like the newest painting.

    Dutch
Funny you should say that. The painting started its life with a driver standing beside the car. He was giving me all kinds of trouble so I got rid of him.

Working on a new painting now. Gotta go see if its dry...
