Would be awesome if you did a step-by-step! I am trying to learn how to paint with acrylics and oils - it ain't easy!

Well...it has a car part in there...I welded it up as a tool actually, to flail at the damnable blackberry vines. Turns out it just snags them and drags them all over my stupid self as I scream like a little girl and run for the first aid kit....Oh well, it sure looks cool hangin' on the shop wall![IMG]

The welds are ugly to fit the look. I had the bad guys from the scifi series Firefly in mind. It looks like something the insane space baddies would cobble together.

Speaking of Cowtown, Here are a few of the designs I did as show t-shirt vendor for the late, lamented Cowtown Nationals in Kansas City, which ran from 1980-1994.

This one was airbrushed, reproduced as an offset-printed trasnsfer.

Here are a few things that I have been working on. I have sculpted all of these by hand, made my own molds, cast them in resin and painted them up. Hope you like the finished product.

Here are the first 2 in my artist series. Artist series will include hand strung hemp stitching on the shift knobs, custom paint colors and a glass dome display for showing them off. Regular all resin versions will follow soon for functional shift knobs.

The next is more of a sculpt than a knob.
Flying Pie - i found a cool wall sconce to mount this one on and painted it up to match.

Last but not least is my Zombie hand shift knob. This evolved out of a phone conversation with Jason of Timebomb Kustoms. Still needs a couple of finishing touches like its display dome and base painted. I will post pics in a few weeks once it is finished and under glass. This can be used as a shift knob or as desk art.
