Hot Rod from So Cal 1958-59, typical, lowered California rake, steel rims, white walls and a Flathead motor.

    Hello,

In my research for Joe Itow’s Automotive Willys Coupe, up pops this great photo of the Willys Coupe in the background of the clear B/W photo. The foreground 1934 Ford sedan looks as if it just rolled off of the streets of Pasadena into the pits at Lions Dragstrip. One could be surprised at opening the driver’s door. The steering wheel is at the back of the door jam. That means a full 25% setback for the Flathead motor, placing this street legal-looking 34 sedan into the Altered cl***es.

For detailing, the designation of B/F stands for B/Fuel Coupe or Sedan. The name is Pasagreen Body Shop located in PASADENA, CA. But, since it is on GREEN STREET, the name Pasagreen Body Shop fits right into place.

Talk about a back seat driver!!!

The Pasagreen Body Shop B Fuel Coupe/Sedan was powered by a Mercury engine and was capable of turning about 116 mph. Courtesy of Bob Grunnet

Note: 181 W. Green St. in Pasadena, CA is now a Bank of America parking structure.

Once again, some more of my old art work.
COLOR stuff is old T-shirt art for our clubs annual car show. Most of it is drawn 4-color so it could be digitized for silk screen or transfer.
BLACK & WHITE stuff for Junkyard News which I co-pulished in the '80s, Also some old car show flyer art.
CARTOONS from Street Rodder Magazine...was a Contributing Artist for them in the '70s. arc6.jpg

Thanks, 56 Dodge Pickup... I loved them too! Much appreciated! Apparently the moderators didn't like my art at all this week because it was deleted for being off topic? I am just trying to understand what was off topic about a steel Victoria with steel wheels? I respectfully ask the moderators, could you please pm me and explain how I didn't comply with my art this week? I thank you in advance. Because of past deletions, I strive to submit art that complies in all ways. I am confused because some weeks we can submit mustangs and toilet paper, yet my Vicky somehow missed the mark? I loved this picture, thought my HAMB brothers would too... Please help me understand what you don't find acceptable. I would be glad to alter this piece to fit your needs... just need to know what was wrong with my art.
    Thank you, robber

Happy Friday everyone! This may be a bit hokey but sitting at home with nothing but bad news regarding the current situation, I wanted to try and lift our spirits a bit. Have faith, stay safe.
