Buffalo Motorama 2017-The Open Wheel Room auto art give aways.Donated by friends and sponsors.My work is the two lit lamps on the back shelf made from old horn bodies. Also the Participant Pick one from my HUGE heap of stuff. I painted the MoonEyes piggy bank for our Kids Pick Award. All the kids that made a pick got to sign it for the winner.Also THANKS SUMMIT for their support!!

I little OT but it's all I've got this week.

 

Man, Radio Flyer's have come a long way!

 

Can you explain the technique you used to paint that Chevy flatbed.Seems like a primitive technique yet the make of the truck is readily discenable.Cannot be easy to do that.

 

It's entirely painted using palette knives. You can't get too fussy when using knives to paint, you have to give up some control, it sure is a fun way to paint though.

 

Quick change rear I've been working on....

 

And where it will "live"....

 

As somebody who used to race those bikes, one lap was really all you could do. It's a sprint. Like running a drag race, you just go balls out, fast as you can. Multi lap bike races are boring, everybody just takes it easy, tries to get in to position, until the last lap, when it turns in to a sprint.

Dude! I am blown away by these images... really diggin' the '58 Impala and the '56 Vicky detail, but that bare-metal Buick is killin' me! Awesome work.
