    I'm in the trophy making mode for the 2017 season. Here is a policeman's choice trophy. The badge is a piece out of a 15" water main pipe. Sorry about the ****py picture. It would look better out in the sun. badge-1.jpg

    Very impressive! I think if you had photographed it in the sun, it would not have come out as good. Perhaps shoot it from a lower angle aiming up so that you only have the sky in the background or something. Main thing - the piece itself ROCKS! Someone will be thrilled to win that.

    Thank you all for the kind words. Ernest has been so gracious in all this. I am so grateful to have a forum like the H.A.M.B. to share my work, talk shop with fellow car guys and artists, and to rub elbows with people who have been in the hot rod world, up to their elbows in grease and ****** knuckles, some since the beginning.

    The article itself was what I provided to the mag. Ernest did a great job editing and weaving the story about my dad into what basically appears in a bio on my web sight.

    The 39 guy, Those guys laid the ground work for hot rod cartoonists and I ow them a lot of thanks for the inspiration. To be compared is an honor. One I receive with great humility, thank you.
