  5. Lotsa guys posting other guys work. Here's an artist whose work got me hooked. I found a stash of old National Geographics, most dating between June.'66 and Dec. '69, somebody was throwing out. [Sorry, only 1 with naked natives but a lot of Vietnam, Cambodia, and the MOON, (Serca 1973).]
O.T. but very cool. ( I noticed lots of O.T. stuff this week, Hmmm, Ryan's gone and O.T.s are up? While the Cat's away, the mices will play.)

Those little accents definitely help it out. The body of the brush looked a little plain before. I can see how that woodgrain idea would have been hard to pull off because of the face.

  11. Nothing new from me, except a new logo for decals, myspace and other swag type stuff.

A very good "Art Show" guys! You illustrators, cartoonists are the Sh#t....

Thanks man...I REALLY apprecaite the feedback and tips. It's actually supposed to be a 26/27T-coupe, turned roadster so it didn't have a turtle back proper. I was also planning to mold the doors in, but I like the doors in the modified sketch you did...so it's something to thing about for sure. I can see how the little touches you did really can make it come to life.
    Again, thanks!

Funny stuff, oh,...I mean, very serious art. These pieces truly make a statement. (Inset joke here.)

I love this thread, To think I have been missing out on them after all this time. Maybe I can even purchase a piece. OT but not, I had an artist girlfriend who oil painted a mermaid on my welding hat in her likeness. It was beautiful! So beautiful that I wanted to show it off, ( I am a dumbass I know), Long story short a laborer on a welding job in LA Harbor kicked it in the harbor and didn't make a fricking peep. I would of went in after it , It lies on the bottom of LA Harbor to this day. Shit.

I am not a painter.....and I am far from being an artist, I make stick figures. I painted my last bike and didnt know what I was doing but it turned out perfect.

I wanted to play with Lace painting and somehow ended up doing this in the garage today. I did the fender first and was not happy with the overall look, I think I found what I want after I sprayed the oil filter pictured below.

The fender has too much color:

You need a seam down the back of that "fishnet" fender.

    Great show.
