I hope it didn't get crushed. A buddy at work found that photo on line, then he and I each did an ink drawing of it while out on an assignment. Certainly helped pass the time.

 

SORRY Kenmo, there is Not a NOMAD in any of the pictures !!

THERE IS, However, a two door WAGON illustrated that is fantastic...!!!

 

Inspiration is where you find it..... This pencil/crayon drawing was given to me by a friend who did the California Mille with me back in 1993, in Ak Miller's El Caballo. He was given the drawing to pass on to me, by the artist, Leland Bernard, who was 9 years old when he was inspired to lay out his vision on paper. Note that it was drawn within a year of the last Carrera Panamericana....
