OK! So I know it's Saturday and I'm a day late for the "Friday" art show but I'm a newbie so I get some slack.

First, a question for sinister... I'm thinking of painting my helmet and wonder how you masked off the snaps. I was thinking of just painting over them.

And secondly: I need to commend everyone on the great artwork in this thread. Here's my contribution:

Hey, spoggie; medium is camera and photoshop And unfortunately, Jerry isn't the owner of that one. Just put the name in for fun.

haven't got pix of any new striping uploaded but i thought i'd share the flyer sketch i did for dad's KKOA kickoff party....meant to share it last week and help promote the event a little more but...$hit happens....still had a great turnout and lots of fun.

Late night lace work......7-24-09

 

I didn't paint the helmets, only striped them....but the guy who does 'em just masks 'em off with a good tape and a fresh razor blade to cut around 'em.
Or you can drill out the rivets that hole 'em on, paint, then re-rivet 'em on.
