    Had to scramble to come up with something for the silent auction at the drags. Had an old cone cap in the garage so I knocked off the loose rust and did this.

    Great show so for, Nate a buddy and I were just talking about how we used to make those knobs is HS shop! Looks great.

    All the art is great as it is every Friday..., but this jogged a memory Nate. I made some of these in Freshman crafts class back in '62...only mine were emerald green and white. Our teacher was pretty cool about stuff like that! Nice work!
     
  23. That's funny, I don't think that happens in shop class anymore, I never saw it myself, but working on the lathe is a kind of zen thing, helps with the blood pressure :)

    Thanks man! I forgot to mention that the character in the graphic is someone everyone should recognize. Wendy Peppercorn really loves his new hairstyle too! :D
