    Amazing work man!

Here is what I did this week...I know its not taditional rod art.....but I thought you guys may find it interesting to look at. It was an assignment in my photoshop class.....we had to show interaction between two artists one being an early artist and the other being a contemporary artist....

I chose Todd Schorr with a portion of his "A Pirate's Treasure Dream".....and then I chose Norman Rockwell's "The Diving Board"

    Sorry if this disinterests anyone...

You have some bitchin' photo shoppin' skills yourself! Nice work!

...and thanks for all of the comments everyone....I wasn't too sure if that style of art would go over too well......

  15. yeah! all water colour..... Sketched out in light pencil first then painted in layers to get the shades. As I found out painting in black and white is well difficult..
I have asked this before is it worth getting prints done?
and Yes Nicnak I will do some for you anyway just let me get round to it.

I guess there was a certain amount of "artistic ability" in bringing this project together? Started with an unfinished deck from eGay. The graphic griptape came from the UK.

The wheel wells were cut out but I tapered them for more clearence. Painted the green and did the oval and lettering in griptape. Just liked the effect.

    hehe....
Hey those shirts are cool. What I like about the monster shirts is that everyone's looks different.

I've probably painted roughly 5000 shirts in the last 4 years. After that many, you'll be able to do it in your sleep. Most of those 5000 were cheapy "love" or "name" shirts though. I've probably only done 500 monster shirts.....

How many do you have to do to catch up? ;) :D :D

    Keep up the good work!!!!
    and keep showing your progress!

1shot-bitchin' concept; looks like a magazine cover to me for an article I need to write about lowbrow going museum mainstream.:D
Paul-love your illustration style-you should do a book.
Tingler-seen my 'Shut Up and Paint Artshow' thread yet? Check it out...

It's a piece I commissioned from Johnny Ace and Kali.
I added the colored background in Photoshop.
