Never posted in the art show before, but I guess I have some stuff to share. First one is a seat I just finished up for a good friend's custom Triumph. The second is the leather seatback I did for my 1930 sedan. Finished it up a bit ago, but never posted it on here. Figured I would post it before it became like belly****ons. Everybody's got one (a hand tooled hot rod seat that is...)

    DAMNIT!!!

30ASedanATX...I had an idea about two years ago to skin some ornamental custom leather seats like that. It popped in after seing a few really sweet solo seats. I thought it might be too much....

I shoulda done it. Looks good, though I'd worry about going too over the top with it.

Now I'd be an also ran - after the thought - whatchamacallit.

Seems like all my great ideas get done before I get the chance.....

I'll be back with art (hopefully) tonite. I got's a good one this week. Hope my scanner can handle the length, (lol, if I had a dollar for ever time I heard that).

  26. Here's a loose sketch, the kind I like to do 'cause I can pound 'em out pretty quick. Love to lay my ideas down then clean 'em up and make 'em purdy...

Those tooled leather seats are fantastic. It made me look through my old
Hop Ups (May 52) because I remembered one of the cars in it that is one of my favorites.
