All Right! I love these art shows ... great work from everyone.
I was up until 6am Christmas morning finishing this painting of/for my girlfriend. Her reaction was sort of a final test before I asked her to marry me. Sounds callous, but I think it's important to know that the person you're planning on spending the rest of your life with REALLY supports your artistic and creative endeavours. Painting her as the subject in a setting that defines everything I love about life (pinups and cars and her) worked. She's now my fiance.;)

    Mmm ... redheads.
All right, now that that is out of the way, I can get back to work on another pinup. Joe, if you're reading this, thanks buddy, and your pinup is coming along on time.:D

  3. Needed a break from the yellow people so I scribbled this little doodle then added a caption.

  4. Appologies if I posted this before. Seeing as it was a gift a fellow HAMBer "present"ed to his wife (of his wife, sort of) for Christmas I doubt I put 'er up. (Me thinks the one I did post had a different face. This one's a characature of the Gal it represents.)

    Japanese Beckoning Cat
Japanese lucky cats are called maneki-neko in Japanese. Japanese lucky cats are cat-shaped lucky charms. A Maneki-neko raises one of its front paws and beckons (maneku) by showing the palm of the paw. It is believed that the cats bring fortune and the customers into your store. So, you can see them in many Japanese businesses.

I think i saw the 32 shell thing in a Japanese magazine not an original idea just my take on it.

I'd like to let you all know that Jigger created Little Debbie (page #2 of this art show) for me and I am excited and happy. Let me say that Debbie is now a 2' by 3' poster framed and carefully matted and hanging in my workshop in the basement. She looks as great on paper as she does in real life.
Jigger, your drawing captured her perfectly. For others looking for a cool way to keep your beloved wife (or girlfriend) around, this is the way!
Mr. Jigger (Ervin) thanks for taking so much time to get Debbie just right. All that have seen her in your drawing are amazed and they have all been able to pick out her features perfectly.

Its not art, I don't ever post on this but, damn this thing was kicking my ass, Nothing is symetrical about it, the radii, the lengths, nothing, thanks to our crappy molds that we use.. Here you go...
