Art & Inspiration ***FRIDAY ART SHOW***Nov. 3rd 2006

I think all art work tells a story,or at least should..so there was a guy who took his 1960
Ford Delivery into the body shop for customizing, cut the top, mold
in the rear doors, make a neat roll pan on the rear, put on some skirts
and lower it all around, then paint it bright yellow.....quick here is a
quiz....looking at the art....in what city is the body shop located?

I like this one personally. I have so much artwork that I need to either scan or take pictures of.

Some of you may have seen another version I posted of this painting.This is how the actual painting is with this background.
I took a quick picture but the reflections in the surface of the paint
make it look kind of splotchy, which it isn't. Last one for this show.

Aww hell, here's another. Only a detail shot though.

This one is called "3 Eyed Bugger" 24" X24" acrylic and airbrush on canvas.

Next week I'll show the whole piece.....

I've gotten some requests for more line art work. This first one was for Glass_Packs here on the HAMB, for his '62 Mercury Meteor...



And there have been a few requests for a sedan version of my HotRod art, so I tried a non-specific one of those, too...



That last one's now available on tees and other things... As well as white on black:

 

The wife shot this up at Road America with her little plastic Holga camera.
It recently was hung in a gallery showing.

 

Oh, yeah. This one too.
Not a car, but it's got a hot rod engine, HAMBys!

 

I did this in school for an art exam in 1973 aged 15, then I discovered hot rods........................
