For people who don't know what a Holga is, heres a brief overview- The Holga is basically a beginner student camera using medium format film. Its relatively cheap at about 80-100 bucks. Everything on the camera (Including the lens) is plastic. It doesn't have many settings as far as shutter speeds and aperatures go. By all rights it shouldn't produce the images seen here. However, in the right hands, you can produce very interesting and artistic images. The camera has produced sort of a cult status along with other cheap cameras of its type (The Dianna to name one..) So much so that there is a compe***ion held in NYC every year called the Krappy Kamera Kompe***ion ( No..I didn't make that up!) Only cameras under 100 dollars and pinhole cameras are allowed to enter. Buick59 would definitely win with any of his entries. Spike
Thanks Hotrodphotos. Actually you can get a Holga for 15 bones. i bought 2 of em and modified one into a "Bulb" Holga (for night photography) and just did slight mods on the other. Im flattered to death that ya dig em. I have only shown a few of them. When my cable guy gets our **** hooked back up I will post more. Until then here is my 35mm shot of the same cars. Mike
