[ QUOTE ] My favorite R&C cover shot. They cropped the right half so it would fit. Sam Davis Deuce. [/ QUOTE ] Unique shot, excellent. Were you panning from an overpass? Or were you sitting on top of a school bus driving alongside?? Great stuff everybody, another fine Art show.

This is part of a sign for my shop. I just moved into a new place . The old one was the garage behind my house. It was a residential area so I just worked quietly and hoped the zoning guys never found me . My neighbors were cool about it and never turned me in. Well, after 20 years like that I moved into a huge place that allows me to put up a sign for the Strange Days Garage. This is carved out of Signfoam. I'm sure a lot of you know about this stuff, but it was news to me. It carves like wood, and can stay out in the elements. This signfoam material is sumpin else!
Here's a painting I did recently, not a hotrod but I liked the image. It's oil on canvas about 30"x 40".
Damnit Chaz, I wish you would'nt have shown that sign! That's one of the coolest signs I have ever seen. Now I want to try it So much amazing art here, it makes my head spin....
Dont wanna sound like some feel good hippie.......But every one here has some EXCELLENT stuff on display this week. I dig the hell out of the pinstripers and airbrush artists!!!! Here are a few more HOLGA pics. The first one is printed on fiber then toned using a copper toner. The scan does not do it justice. The actuall print has a real cooper look to it. And the one after is of my kid. The next ones are scans of my Fujichrome. I love this 49!!! Thats all....Im tired.
Sure wish I could lay claim to doing this but I can't.Done by Alvin Withem of Ypsilanti MI.Great sculpturing! And the guy who owns it has a matching Deuce 3-window!Enjoy!
WOW! What a great art show today. My hats off to everyone that contributed. Really alot of talent here. I don't have any Kustom Kulture type work to display, but I'm gonna burn some midnite oil to catch up. Here's a couple of pics of my work on a recent job, it's on a 2004 Peterbilt. I just wanted to show that I can hold a brush. So here it goes: I hope ya liked it. Next time It'll be panels, Rat Finks, and Hot Rods. Later, Joel
peter pan, that shit's the real deal...sitting in my garage drinkin beer and striping panels doesn't compare to climbing all over those huge trucks!!!!

One final pic before I sign off:the rear view of my good friend and striper/airbrush artist extraordinaire Shane Syx(yes that is his real name). An S-10 down in the weeds the old way and a paint job to die for.Taillights are 59 Chevy inverted.
I hope this link works. I was inspired by the James Dean/Porche show that I saw on the Speed Channel. It took me all day (Fri) to do this and it still needs work. I need to straighten out some things with the doors and such, but it is close to done. I hope you can dig it even though it's not "trad". Sorry that it has to be a link but the pic is too graphically intense, so it won't save well to a small file. I have it about as crappy as it can be without being too terrible. I don't need the low res giving me a bad reputation, lol. http://groups.msn.com/SevindeesFamily/sevindeesfriends.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=264
kitkat- working (poor) sounds about right.. Do you print your own stuff? I know a great rental darkroom, RA4 & B/W. be sure and post the date when your opening draws near. mikes51- I was shooting from above where they cut the road into the hillside. It was sorta cliffish. Chaz- You ruckin fule. Brandon (hemi) -Your burnout is still visible in my parents' cul-de-sac. I saw it last week.
I havent posted any work on here in a while, but you guys are doing just fine like always! EVERYONE is very talented, and I always look forward to the friday shows! DOUBLECLUTCH!!! Thats a painting??? damn man, that is some beeeautiful work, very realistic! Nice job!!!
