Art & Inspiration Friday art show

Hello,

We have always liked the white Reath Automotive Altered Sedan from the early years at Lion’s Dragstrip. But, in going to the original Moon Equipment Shop in Santa Fe Springs a couple of times over the years, we always thought the sedan would make a nice addition with a Moon Yellow Paint. They already had a 671 front supercharger in the Mooneyes Dragster, so the same style set up for the yellow 29 Ford Altered Sedan would have been a natural…

The original Dragmaster frame is nicely highlighted in a color other than gold and it stands out anywhere.

But, if the owners wanted to showcase the Moon logo line up of cars, the 29 sedan would play a portion of the early drag racing scene to the general public that attends those open house events without even knowing about its early history. Altered Sedans are a mystery to most folks as they disappeared in the mid 60s and only show up at one or other of the Cacklefests 50 to 60 years later. YRMV

Happy (FAS) Friday to everybody.
I thought I would add a few of my older colored pencil drawings, and some photography of various cars that are reflected on today's thread, and some of my favorite vintage Corvette emblems and tail lights.
The smiling lady in the center of the red Pegasus, was my very cool mother in law that passed away a couple of years ago, so it was a special piece I did for her memorial.

Sometimes, it's the little unexpected, totally spontaneous, little details, than can contribute, so much to a photograph!

A friend of mine is making use of his down time . He hauls propane. The refinery that he hauls out of is shut down for maintenance and repairs. So he has been welding bits and pieces together
