These are just some cheap ass shit pics I took. What I wanted to show of here was a friends art work. this is one of Bo Huff's projects. These pictures don't even come close to doing it justice. Sorry no other shots of the car. I just pushed it a little out of the paint booth to snap a picture ot two. This has got to be one of the best lookin Merc's! Mike
Beetle...Old_Beet Seems there was another piece of art you finished up this week that I'm not seeing here. Maybe you could post a pic. of that one too [ QUOTE ] All the stuff I've airbrushed this week was done using a Badger Anthem with Createx paint (which I think kind of sucks'but works great on a shirt or wall) First one to name this HAMBer dude wins a little art dohickythingamujig.... I cant paint, draw or pinstripe, but as a machinist I like to carve on metal. Here are some header caps done in finned aluminum. I shot blasted them with small ceramic beads to give them a "cast" look.
You're Welcome Jester, I combined the images in a "photoshop" program (in this case Corel photopaint) and cropped out the white space. mike
my first pinstriping job on an old toolbox. maybe ill add more to it. sorry the pic is crappy, its supposed to say "no tools loaned" on it.
I know it's not a traditional hot rod but it is a traditional hot rod paint job. This is what my brother and I did to his truck over the Memorial Day weekend in between going to Paso and to Neal's BBQ. There are more pics of the whole adventure on my site.
This is the first time I've seen it from someone else's perspective. I like it. Good thing as I'll be wearing it for a while Thanks Keith. Thanks a ton! [ QUOTE ] We have a winner! Man GREAT stuff fella's! I haven't been getting too much stuff done since I tried to mount my hand to the workbench. Yeah I thought I could get more stuff done with it attached to the working surface. Well if you didn't bleed for it, IT wouldn't be worth doing...right...RIGHT? Update on the rest of the HAMB Chromag shiftknobs-as soon as I get my hand back together I will get them finished...sorry for the delay.
60's read something once that went like this. 'You always make time for the tings you enjoy doing' only problem with that theory is sometimes we don't always enjoy doing the things we love, for what ever reasons. Great bunch of stuff as usual.
