    Okay...this isn't hot rod related or striping but I just finished this for a buddy of mine that is really into jazz. This is the first painting I ever did that didn't end up in the bottom of my closet...

    Here's a weird one from a ****py thrift store camera that I was experimenting with a while ago.
    In the actual photo you can see part of my thumbprint on that ****on.

  9. well, i decided to try something a little different this week. its a
    15x20 piece of stainless sheet that i burnished with a roloc gasket
    removal disc. the orange, green and blue are custom mixed plus
    primrose yellow. the pictures are really washed out, but it hink you get the idea... [​IMG]

    Thanks for the compliment, Delaware George! I'm trying to make myself letter more...I've kinda been slaccking the last year or so...I get caught up doing striping and cut-outs of crazy stuff and forget to actually LETTER something once in awhile! [​IMG]

    ShortBus...that is REALLY cool lookin!

    Tony's 32 roadster. Gettin re sprayed in some kinda blue, havent decided to go gloss or flat yet, but plans are for some weird tail light placement, '59 caddy tail lights recessed in the upper rear quarters [​IMG]

    More 'not car related but still art' stuff:

    Steel cuff hammered out of 1/4" square rod...

    Another out of 3/8" rebar (yes, rebar!)

    This one ended up being an exercise in oxy-acetalyne welding too in order to fill in some cracks.

    those "letter openers" almost look like striping brushes.

    yeah, in a way I guess they do.

    Striping is one of those things I've been wanting to try...
