Had some down time this week, and couldn't wrench on the car. Got some art done though. A rendering of my car(some day) and a flame job for my goalie helmet.

Haven't felt much like posting this last few weeks.
Here is a recent piece I did on the box of a machine tap and die set I bought a few months ago. This piece is around 24" x 18" and I am pretty pleased how it turned out. Geoff aka Whodaky

This one was done with HOK tengelo pearl base, then all the graphics were done with HOK Kandy concentrates and pinstriping urethane. I use Spies Hecker for most of the artwork. But use the HOK when needing transparant effects.

Here's something i sketched up this week for a t-shirt design idea for one of my skate sponsors and the clothing company i ride for... it's called "Sessions" clothing. I presented it to them yesterday and they really liked it, so it will become one of their designs in the line in the near future:) Super stoked and will post the final product when it's finally released...it may be a two color!

  15. how's about some sculpture??
this is a console i built for a 97 tahoe that went out to SEMA.
the owner races in pro-comp, so i asked him for some parts to incorporate into the interior. a coupla' JE pistons and some crower rods and i had what i needed. you can look down thru the plexi window and see the pistons and ring grooves. it looks really cool in person. the fuel hose has the air lines run thru it to his air pressue gauge for the bags.
the console follows the paint scheme on the outside of the truck. the rear part has a mirror on top of it, to reflect the amplifiers installed in the headliner. nothing says cl*** like some polished up big block parts. hope ya dig it.

  16. Sorry, don't have a better shot, a few years ago I painted "Lord of Flatbush" like the Sopranos logo with the guns for letters "L" and "F" on the quarters of a Downshifters of Brooklyn (FL chapter) memebers A coupe, well it was finally finished a few months ago and I got this shot of the finished car yesterday.

He's replacing the pin bias tires as he can with radial WWW, he drives it everyday to work 30 miles each way in HEAVY traffic.

Thanks for the kind words about the tattoo design.... I must, however, offer a correction..... I did draw a piece that had the yee haw at the bottom...... BUT, the girl is only my interpretation of a piece of SAILOR JERRY flash.......I cannot take any credit for that design........thanks again......Dennis

  23. After that long post I just finished on old New England cars,I'll keep the artwork to a minimum. There's a pic of a trike I did this week and a couple of plant pedestals I scarfed from my wife to decorate. They're OSB covered with black Formica. No theme on them;just random designs.I use them in the garage to display artwork.
