  3. That is to say I'm moved by the esoteric nature of your work. Very deep and urbane;
    it has a quality and purpose which allude me and, yet, capture me at the same time.
    Now where did I put that Brie and Shiraz...[/QUOTE]

    Brie and Shiraz!??
    Dude, I ain't said stuff like that since the Cecimillion Gold days...
    Wow - and I thought I was full of it...
    I do like his work too...

    Man its only 12 30 and its already insane on here,Great show this week everyone and John the poster looks cool man.This is all I have this week,still working on shift knobs for a huge order but I knocked this out.Its a 11x24 panel,wrapped in foam and black crushed velvet,then an 8x18 lil daddy roth tropicali flaked panel bolted to it and pinstriped in black and white....

    I have been doodl'n with pencil all my life. I had no idea a scifer'n stick could do stuff like that. Boy, do I ever want to unsrew the top of your head and look inside. I would love to get tips from you about your technique - how your pencil work looks so photographic - I'm amazed - just amazed...

    I start looking forward to Friday about Saturday morning, can't wait for the next instalment of the Friday Art Show. I've haven't posted anything yet, as I'm continually in awe by the quality of work displayed by everyone here and applaud you all, stripers, sculptors, painters and drawers. The hit for me this week is the striped maniquens, one of those would look excellent standing in the corner of a dining room!

    Glad the humor wasn't lost on you. I don't really talk that way and wine
    gives me gas (so does cheese come to think of it.)
    Sonny's work is always deserving of expanded commentary...

    ewt2 - your are the fucking man. It took me 5 minutes to CONVICE a coworker that he was staring at a pencil drawing and not a black and white photograph.

    Started airbrushing a couple of years ago for fun. Had a pole barn fire in Feb ..lost some ..stunk up some ...trashed some. Haven't started back up again much as yet. (One I salvaged)

    Lots of interesting work here today.

    Jeff, I really love the fact that you can make your digital work look like a traditional painting.

    My wax from a couple weeks ago, is now cast in Bronze.
