Didn't get this one done in time for last weeks Art Show, so I'm putting it in this week. Sold it in less then an hour in the classifieds. This place rocks in more ways then I can count. Thanks Ryan for giving us a place to hang out.

It is a new addition to Doc's Desk Top Art Work collection, and quite a collection it is becoming, if I ever get them sent out..... Gene

All I can say is that I am extremely impressed by the wealth of talented artists on the HAMB. Makes me humble as I can't even draw flies.

I did these for a local art show. If they don't sell, I'm gonna put them on ebay.

Here's a couple t-shirt graphix I've done in past years. The original artwork is made with black createx and Alan Johnson detail brush. I usually scan the artwork and finish it up in Photoshop. Sometimes the whole thing is painted, like the striping-shirts, and scanned after that. For the striping I use Mack series 10 striper size #000. They are usually done with Createx as well on thick cardboard.
    - I just found out how to add pixc from photopucket and just want to check how it works...

A record cover, the Finnish rock band that ordered the pic did not like it, so I still have the original ( size is 10" x10" ) Painted with acrylics and brush on cardboard.
Thanks for checkin' out the pics, I try to manage these programs to submit some more pictures for the next weeks art show.

Though this is not a post about art, it is a way off topic post about an artist.

Last night, I bought a can of Von Dutch Energy Drink at Target. This, in my estimation, is one of the unholiest products I have ever been witness to. So I had to buy one. I won't give you the website, since I don't want to help promote the blasphemy, but if you Google it, you'll find it.

  28. I asked the Hottie in line at the bank who Von Dutch was ( she was decked in a hat AND shirt....She told me a edgy clothing designer. At least his shirt made her boobs look huge:p

Man, don't let my dumb anecdote derail the art show. We all know the Von Dutch commercial thing is horrendous. Now let's stop gabbing about it and look at some more art. I'll try and post some crap I've painted when I get home tonight.

Did a bunch of new stuff for the Picnic a few weeks back. This a sort of Von Dutch tribute piece (still not totally finished). Harvey Shakin on one side of a big bowl thing and one of my originals on the other side along with a flying eyeball cut from a Jada toy box. Then I made a mount to sit it on using a broken gear and a large bearing race so the whole piece can be rotated, with the up rights a couple of flange segments from the scrap bin at work. The whole thing is kind of a free standing sculpture! This whole piece contains a lot of ironies! Well things that I am sure Von Dutch would find ironic! Geoff aka whodaky
