    Hi,

New guy here, but I thought I would post some of my handiwork. These are some pizza cutters that I made from scratch (all manually machined and fabricated). My background is in old motorcycles, but I'm currently building a hot rod Beetle since I can't afford a "real" hot rod.

Whodaky gave me this Moon disc to stripe for the auction at Johns Picnic last year. Trouble was it was late on the Sunday and I didn't get it done.

It's done now and can sit in my shed until this year's Picnic.

    Pete

Edit: I used a Mack #1 for the first time. Usually use #00. It felt like a 4" house brush.

    Jeff,
Thanks for the link. What a cool site. A guy could spend hours looking at that art I love it. I even found a picture of a gas station from my hometown taken in 1955. MY uncle lived nearby and we use to stop there for gas every once in a while. Small world.

  28. Thought I'd throw a couple up;mostly doing body shop stuff, but I did do an HHR for a friend this week.Added some more to the V-- D---- sign. Some in-progress pics of a couple of half-scale surfboards I carved out of two inch High Density Foam. And the last is a group of California Raisins that the guy who owned the HHR brought over to show me.

They were made by a co-worker a few years ago.Cut out of 3/4 inch plywood(some of the most intricate cutting I've ever seen;look at the drummer's cymbal.),hand painted and mounted on the blade of an old ceiling fan.I tried to trade him the stripe job for it but he refused.
