Welcome Nick, to the Friday art show...looks like you've got a good start there...perspective is decent, wheels and tires need a little help...but all in all, a good drawing...keep at it...

Jokem59's charity is definitely a great help to someone just starting out...

Here's one of mine done in pen and ink...

Jess Sonny, Your models and monsters are beyond amazing! I've been buying model kits lately because you inspired me to pick the hobby back up. Haven't done it since 8th grade. Killer stuff!

Well Sonny, I will never achieve your greatness but I'm cool with that. It did mean a lot to me that you liked this latest Skull shift knob though when I brought it by the other day.

For those of you who don't know, these are hand made by me, and is number 5 of five so far. They are one-off hand sculpted, then casts with resin, carved some more for detail, stained or painted, bullet teeth ( real ones from 22 ), CNC Aluminum parts, and misc. stainless hardware.

I know it's not the kind of "Art" that most of you are into, but here's my most recent art project... it's the Halloween display at my house. I made/built most of the stuff that you see here.

The video was taken too late for last weeks art show, so here it is.

I don't think I've shown this one yet.
    It's a sign I painted for a HAMBer...

    One Shot and some acrylic.

And here's what I did last night. I made my first knife sheaths.....and they suck. But at least they work and are useable. I didn't use any measuring tools.....I eyeballed it all.....so really I'm not too embarrased by them. I'll use 'em.

[FONT=&quot]What a great composition. I love large scale works. THAT took a lot of "stepping back" to see the overall picture. Can't wait for the next one.

I love that shot!!! Along w/ a lot of the stuff that is on you site! I have had it saved for a while. I tried 2-3 time to do it in B&W but it never come out right. I have one rendered in the green as well, but I liked the blue the best. I might run a few of these new illustrations in a series of prints. If I do I will send you and your brother a copy.

  28. This is my first time posting here, I just found out about the friday art thread this week. There is some really great stuff on here. Hope to become a regular. Here is my first contribution. Two paintings done digitally using photoshop. I start with a pencil sketch, scan it in, and work over it using my wacom tablet.
What I would do with a 62 Catalina. Great car.

  30. Dumb question, but how do you post the images into the body of the text rather than being an attachment? I see most people do it that way rather than attachments.
