Very nice! Ok, here's some stuff I meant to post last Friday and digital took the proverbial shit on me. These are my PVC "Practice Panels" and they are rough. Plexi glass from now on. The first is something I'm sending to Ratster for his shows doorprize giveaway. Joel [/ QUOTE ] Thanks man! That is awesome. I wish I could win that one of them prizes. great show again, thanks guys!
[ QUOTE ] striped a midget, a 62 caddy trunk lid, a glass table top, finished (i think) the trunk of my car [/ QUOTE ] Was the Midget just an unassuming victim or was he aware you were painting him?
Great show I didnt get anything done for the show this week But my wife did a painting for me of a pic I seen in a tatoo mag that I liked. Ithink she did a great and its only the 3rd time she has used 1 shot (the last time was at detroit autorama)
Ive already put these pics up but I cant make it look like my wife was the only one painting this week I finished these up last night for tony bones
[ QUOTE ] Well it started out as a soft plastic childs toy. But I have a passion for midget racers and saw this toy as a great start to build the Yellow Racing Team Special. A lot of work and stainless TIG wire in this one. Geoff aka Whodaky [image] That is AWESOME.
I have nothing this week.... It all looks great! And Whodaky....once again, amazing. I can't believe those are the same thing. Wow......
Loudpedal Tell your brother that he needs to be here every Friday........ And if he was looking for a style to call his own he's nailed it. Those look just great. If he scanned them into Photoshop he would probably shock himself with the possibilities......
HillbillyDeluxe...those are cooool! I really dig the C oupe DeVille! Empire...cool stuff, as usual...I always dig the color combos and style you have.
Hillbillydeluxe, those are frickin' awesome, man. You can say a lot with a few lines. Good work all around, as always. Keep it comin'.
Some great stuff here guys. Here's my feebal attempt at art. The first is on my tool box And this is my temporary air cleaner lid.
Hillbillydeluxe - are those digital? or watercolor/pastel/airbrush? curious - they look great. -- raaf
Here's our new band artwork. Sean (Dday) our singer did the drawing and I fancied it up a bit. He's not on the HAMB but he's building a 52 Olds. come see us at the Pile Up PRE PARTY
are those digital? or watercolor/pastel/airbrush? curious - they look great. -- raaf Thanks for the props. They're a combination of both. Scribbled the mani linework by hand, then worked the crap out of 'em in Photoshop. The roadster was made into a banner 12 feet long and printed on canvas for our show. I need to add a few more pics to the site though.
OK I felt bad for not having anything new for this week so I grabbed a piston out of my truck and did this at lunch
WOW that pic makes it look bad It really does look alot better than that. Hey Kustombuilder this is for you, when you get it you'll have to let everyone know the lines are straight
Just shot this last Sunday. Not every body gets a Nuclear blast in the background of a photoshoot! Can you dig it!
Something I just finsihed up, well not finished but done enough for today. Some nice work there from the new guys and the regulars.
