It's got nothing to do with the guy's kids seeing it at the show. He has to drive it there, right? You don't think families that pull up behind that piece of shit on the street can't read? Obviously, you don't have any children nor any fucking common sense.........Pinstripers, my ass. They're workmanship looks like shit. Nice use of colors...uh color....red...By the way,mr.wolf, I've seen pictures of your work and it's very nice.

And for everyone else on here trying to communicate with these guys; remember one thing."NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT....HE"LL BRING YOU DOWN TO HIS LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE"...............just my opinion...Mike

But does the car look traditional from the outside? Yes. Guess what buddy, the Ala Kart had an air bag front suspension! Bill Hines was putting Hydraulic suspensions in customs in the 50's to get them super low. In a (even traditional) custom, its not really about whats under the frame or hood, but the lines, the paint, and the interior.

My goal is an early 50's custom. once all of the scallops and flat black paint is gone, it will be glossy next year, with a real interior, and despite some hidden modern ammenities, it will be a traditional car. why dont you PM Ryan and give him crap about running a traditional hot rod board, and running air bags in his car.

A rusty body rat rod with foolish remarks painted on it is so far away from being a traditional hot rod. Its not a question of a hidden modern amenity to make a car more driveable, its 100% not what I believe most of the seriouse members of this community/message board try to stand for.

You talk about what you see at car shows.I'm talking about a car driving down the street, in front of families w/children that reads "fuck off" on the rear end.Secondly, you say "take other artists for example. Looking at the so-called striping they're doing on that T, those guys wouldn't make a wart on an artist's ass.Anyone with even the slightest amount of decency and common sense would not letter something like this on the back of their car.....

paso car show not a family environment? well, thats fucking retarded, thats where im from and thats what i grew up on. this stuff has shown up more and more at this show lately. the people of this town are getting sick of all the bullshit that is now coming to this town with this car show. all the "rockabilly/rat rodders" coming here and leaving this place looking like crap. i for one am getting sick of coming down to the car show and seeing alot of the stuff going on. as far as naked women. im sorry, but a lot of them are very photogenic and look really bad in person. but as far as "fuck off" is concerened, theres no way of distorting this. if you want to do this to cars, thats cool. just keep it to your little town and have fun with it. i cant wait until this whole rat rod thing goes out of style. al ot of cars for cheap, and you dont have to deal with all of this bull shit.

your profile says that you are trying to do something with your own shop. well, how can a customer feel if you go and show him your "work" with fuck off written all over it. if i was me as the customer. you would be getting the fuck off from me and it looks like you have no respect for anyone and that the chances of getting really shitty work done from you is almost a given. just watch what you show to people. first impression always stay with people.

get what? that the only way that you are getting attention on your car is because of the bold statement on the back and not for the great work on your car. your basically scaring away anyone telling you how nice of a job you did on your car, and just stating fuck off. thats not away to make friends.

Man, You have proven yourself to be a real fool.

The Bo Huff thing is over, but did you know about him before you started reading OSR and CKD? Perhaps you think he is the best thing since sliced bread like OSR and CKD does, after all, you seem to be Ol Skool Rodz and CK Delux material to a T. Personaly, Im a fan of early Barris, Ayala, Valley, Westerguard, etc.

As far as the pinstriping thing. Copying other peoples stuff? Did I claim it was my design? Did I try and sell it? Did I put it on a car or anything of importance? No No and No. You didnt even see the picture. It was a practice run on a piece of clear plastic. I was simply trying my hand at controling the brush through different shapes. Sorry for trying to learn some aspects of pinstriping with a method that I though would work for me. Im glad you think that makes me a fake. Do you know what your rebuttals make you look like?

Trust me man, trying to discredit me, or anyone else posting on this thread, just because others have discredited you, isnt going to make you look any better. Will it satisfy your ego? Perhaps, but its just making you look worse in the eyes of others.

Real friends won't be scared by words on my car. They will see the car for what it is. Again you guys just don't understand. I am bowing out of this one now. Good night to you all.

    Thanks

This is just a bad way to bring attention to you and your ride, not to mention the impresion it gives of our hobby.

I just think before you call yourself a "tradional guy" you should maybe know the history of what you are a so called expert in. You are showing your ingorance in each post you make. I am not making anything up just showing other members the facts.

oh yes i did know who Bo Huff is.

    Take care.

I think having a late model station wagon with red wheels and wide whites is ALSO a bad way to bring attention ,,,, but everyon has there opinions.

Well, please then explain how Bo Huff has much to do with the history of the custom car. What did he pioneer? What landmark car did he build? And I never said I was an expert, but I have spent a lot of time studying the early pioneers who created the style. Bo Huff has nothing to do with the history of the custom car, he is merely a current builder (no matter how long he's been at it, he came well after the pioneers) who has based his work on the techniques developed by the pioneers of the custom car, of whom I research/study.

And trust me, if there was any legit "fakeness" with my pinstriping practice techniqies, I would have been called out on it in the original post. You can warp it into anything you want to.

Im done, your not even worth arguing with. You displayed your overall demeanor when you posted pics of you car with "fuck off" on the back, thats said it all.

I find it somewhat funny that so many of you have judged me and my friends by two words painted on the back of my car. Having tattoos i am use to this but i really didn't expect it on here. I guess now I know who my true friends are. Thank you for making this easier for me.

    Later.

Don't own a Ford... And I sure hope I never have to explain to my 5 year old nephew what you have painted on the back of your rod.

We are all judged by our actions, your action was to paint fuck off on your car, and now you complain because people are offended by it. Isn't that the intention? I mean, do you go around telling everyone you meet to fuck off? Do people talk to you that way? I mean, where do you get off telling people to fuck off. If you don't like people, go live in a cabin in the woods, and stay away from us. It just seems a little odd for a person with an attitude like that to be on this board posting pictures and expecting acceptance form people when your message is for them to fuck off, it makes no sense, hence my earlier statement ----- immature.

Well, I wouldnt want to be behind you either with my two kids present. Whether or not its your car or Jesse James' model A sedan for that matter. Both cars are cool otherwise, so let the car do the talking. I don't get putting that crap on a car to try to be cool.

you painted "fuck off" on your car....you are obviously trying very hard to offend people with it. if you didn't think anyone would have a problem with it, you would not have painted it on the car.

Hey Ryan, thanks for the "block user" feature of the HAMB. It's been coming in handy a lot lately.
