I had a fun day and looked at alot of cool cars and parts today. You can see it all here if you like... http://gopovertyflats.blogspot.com/2012/03/fridays-are-for-road-trips.html
Well the wife and I have a little road trip of ourselves first thing in the morning, were going to look at a Model A, about 400 mile round trip, wish us luck!!!
I've decided to go to a swap meet in Maryland early tomorrow morning... 220 miles away. I'm taking the Ford. Is Saturday OK?
Looks like you had a great day with great weather and lots of vintage tin. That old gas station probably had $10K in signage outside !!!! WOW
Chesepeake AACA is having one w of Baltimore... http://www.chesapeakeaaca.org/pages/activities/flyers/2012fleamarket.pdf Howard County Fairgrounds. I'm gonna get up at 3am and head down.. I live 5 miles from Manhattan. I started a thread but nobody replied haha.
Howard county fairgrounds!! that's just 10 miles from me, I might just have a little longer road trip saturday
Yeah well Friday it is! I decided no way was I gonna fall asleep early enough so I hopped in old smokey and decided to hit the road. I'm at a rest area on the Jersey turnpike now eating burgers and charging my phone. Just filled the Ford up. About 35 or so miles in so 175 to go. 46, if ya make it to the show look for a blue 54 Ford Customline Fordor with Jersey plates.
I never show my engines in their working clothes....only when clean and painted to look like new and not even then anymore on here cause it gets my threads deleted as "spam"
big truck grilles and fenders are hard to sell and rather than crush them he has found a market for "wall hangers" which sell good at non-car events like big flea markets and some buyer buys big loads of them from him.
ice cream around here is homemade, not store bought and we start that Memorial weekend....stay tuned for that.
This makes up for it ok, just the elusive hood ornament makes up for the missing ice cream Wish that was 1500 miles nearer and that I had room for one more serving of stupidbaker .
