Frog Follies 2009 (is it worth going to)

Check your calender!!!!!!!! HAMB drags are this weekend and Eville Iron is next weekend. I thought the same thing.

 

Frog follies are August 28-30.......Great show, good swap meet, cheap food....Good bang for your buck.

 

I haven't been in a while and wish I could make it this year but am moving back to school that weekend...it's definitely a good show there and I'm gonna try my hardest to be there next year.

 

Great place to be, I have been going over 20 years and have meet some great people there......

 

One of two events that I MUST make EVERY year (6 yrs running). Best smoked pork chops in the world! If I can get someone to work for me I'll be back this year! If not I'll have a hotel room for Friday and Saturday up for sale as it's already paid for. Luke

 

Go! the Frog Follies is an awsome show,...you'll have a great time, lots to do, lots of vendors & food, Great cars of all sorts including traditional. I gone there the last 10 years in a row and love going. I'll be there again this year, i wouldn't miss it!

 

Swap meet, auction, live bands, vendors, crafts, tons to do. You gotta go!
If you do beware, you'll always wanna go back!

 

Very nice show. A few show-dogs but 99% are great people. It's a lot of fun. I can only come on Saturday but well worth the drive.

You won't be disappointed and will most likely be back. Hot dogs a buck, burgers 2 bux, very large drinks a buck and all proceeds go to Easter Seals and St Judes if I remember correctly. All kinds of games and contests. If you have a family this is a good one to take them too. Oh yeah be sure and get one of the Pork Chop Sandwiches from the 4-H trailor on Saturday.

I've heard for years from old friends and recently Flamedchevy (Rick) that show is super laid back, fun, and a really good swapmeet. (Old "rod run" feel to it). I'm looking forward to it since Gator and I will be first timers to the show. See ya there in the yellowtub if all goes well.

 

Hey Professor. Glad to hear you and Gator are planning on coming to the Follies. Call me when you get there. I enjoyed last Saturday's run to Ardmore....See ya on the road.

 

Went last year for my first taste of frog! Got my bags packed, room booked, and headin out tommorrow. Great fun , tons of vehicles and a really nice atmosphere. Swap meet and vendors row out of this world. Womens world for the ladies has crafts and air condition. Only thing I'm dreadin is the chance for thunderstorms.

 

Not just yes, HELL YES. A MUST SEE!!!!

 

Wish like hell i was...always wanted to go to that show... hell even had relatives living there, before they got home sick for Texas
