I already got my entry confirmation, and hotel reservation. This is a very good show, for those who haven't attended before. A nice park setting, with plenty of shade, good swap meet, many vendors.

I've been going since 1993 and only missed two during that time. It's a really good event and it supports a good charity.

 

Dollar for dollar one of the best shows you can go to. I have not been in several years but it used to be $15 for 3 day event. Dance on Fri. night, and sat. night, Sat. night dinner, Sunday morning donuts and coffee or juice, and a t-shirt, and some other type of goodie like a limited edition car. Oh, and lets not forget that louvered dash plaque. Plus giveaways at the trophy presentation on Sunday. The whole town chips in to help. Best hospitality ever.

 

Don't forget the ladies in the pink Studebaker with the ribbet-ribbet-ribbet noise maker! Hilarious!

 

Best rod run I know of. Huge swap meet. No rip offs at the Frog Follies. Best places to eat the Log Inn and Hornets Nest.

One of my favorite shows, Iam going Sat only. Been going to this show along time. Alot of nice people . a nice time..

 

I'll be there Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to it. It's only my 2nd year going.

 

The dates this year fall so that I will get to go. Usually in Fla that weekend. A great show, one of the best, I agree.

 

Retro61, Evansville is about a 5-6 hour drive from Valparaiso.

Been every year since '82. The Drury on U.S. 41 is changing to another hotel. We've been staying there for 25 plus years so that's going to be a little different. Always a great event.

 

Will be going down on Friday, staying till Sunday, sure would like to win their give away car! Best show in the midwest for pre '49, the swap is getting bigger ever year I think.

 

I'll be there all weekend. My house is only a mile from the fairgrounds, good thing since my truck is still in pieces.

 

How about a HAMB meet & greet at the top of the hill, noon Fri.& noon Sat.?
On the front steps of the Registration bldg.
