2023 Frogfollies (Evansville, IN.)is next weekend August 25-27. Anybody going? If so, how about a meet and greet outside the entrance to registration on Saturday at 1:00pm? Sam

Sam has posted this opportunity for a number of years now but it's always disappointing in terms of the number of Hamber's showing up. We rarely see more than four people stop by. Given that the "Frog Follies" remains one of the only shows still adhering to the 48 and older criterion, that generally there are 3,000 + attendees and that HAMB is a traditional web site with thousands of subscribers I never understand why only a very few show up for this meet and greet. Come on guys, stop by.

  3. Mentioned this run to my wife a few weeks back; may try to make it. Pre 48 is the draw, as well as the longevity of the event itself.

49th. This year. This will be my 30th. year. Cheapest rod run around , the food is cheap and the money supports a local charity..

  12. I’ll be in Nashville, so I’m coming up for Friday and Saturday.
Haven’t been for many years, really looking forward to to the pre-48 venue and the swap meet.
Unfortunately with nothing but undriveable cars, I’ll be parking in the spectator lot.

Planning on being there in the '34. Been going since 1982. I always forget the meet and great. Maybe this year I'll remember.

We will have the meet and greet just to the North of the registration building, at the edge of the pavement under the big tree. Look for a black 32, a grey 48 Chevy Truck and a blue 33 Dodge coup parked just off the pavement on the grass..

Why not make some "HAMB" signs to sit near your cars or on the roof so as all of you stroll or roll by..........you can say "Hi". :)

  20. Just checked the weather forecast.
Thursday is 99, Friday is 100, Saturday is 93. Yikes!
    Hopefully that will change.
Hopefully plenty of grass and shade.

I'm driving over in my A coupe on Thursday from Southeast Missouri. I'll be at the FF on Friday....mostly at the swap meet. Staying in E-ville on Friday night but leaving Saturday AM to get home and hopefully race my FED somewhere on Saturday night.

To me the best part of the trip is the drive and the swap meet, but a HAMB meet-up would be a very nice addition to the trip.
