Folks, how about a HAMB Meet and Greet at the 50th. FrogFollies next week. In front of the registration building at 1:00pm Saturday. I’ll have a sign. Also, my group always parks near the big tree at the bathroom end of the registration building. Stop by for a visit anytime. Sam
If my Model A has a few hundred miles left in it I'll try to come by to say hello. The "bathroom end" of the registration building, is that to the right facing the front of the building? Lynn
I am going. I am having issues with my 40 convert so even thou I cant enter it, I might drive my Mark 11 continental up there. Should be a big show and hot and humid as usual
Little Truckdoctor and I will be there, but Papaw is staying home. Lloyd said it was the best swap meet he’s been to, so we are going to check it out.
I always heard this was a good one, never got around to driving down to it when I was living in Michigan.
I'll get in on Wednesday (my usual spot). I went down today to help a friend get set up in the "early bird" campground at the south end of the fairgrounds. It was pretty warm out!
@MO_JUNK I'm up for the meet and greet! @tim troutman are you going to be along the main gate road? Everyone, I plan on being at the tree as you come down the hill, kind of behind the club's parking area. Stop by, I'll have a full cooler and chairs. Took it out for a quick "pre bath" cruise last night.
Well, I guess I had the wrong area or just made a mistake on what I was looking for. I was on the side of the registration building with the big Frog Follies photograph opportunity banner about 1:30, walked around a little bit but never did see a sign for the HAMB. I was looking for the blue pickup thinking it was probably a 48 but maybe I should have been looking for the 32 Ford? Lynn
We were in the front of the building. Only five of us showed up but, we had a good talk. harley-sorry you missed us.
Well, The 50th Annual Frog Follies Celebration was a BIG success this year with 3316 cars in attendance! I was HONORED to stripe the 1923 T-Bucket, Grand-Prize Give Away Car, built by Spirit Industries. It was COOL! Frog Follies is my all time favorite car show and it's kind of like a family reunion, except you don't want it to be over... We all had a good time!
I got stuck in the food line and missed the meet and greet again. Maybe next year. This made forty years that I have driven my '34 Chevy coupe to the Frog Follies.
I got stuck in a family reunion, by the t-shirts and missed the M&G. It was my first year to drive in, but it was also my 44th year of being there! Unfortunately, the car went home on the hook.
I suggested to Sam maybe try mid morning instead of the middle of the day next time. The turnout sure hasn’t been what it once was.
