I'm new here and, honestly, haven't always been into the rods and classics until the last couple of years. I was that guy building Hondas to go race the muscle cars and domestics and have owned a few decent ones. I realized one day that I had no right to talk trash when I had never built a domestic. My Dad has a 71 Chevy long bed truck that has been sitting for about ten years and I figure I may as well start there...I suppose for nostalgic reasons as well as the fact that its a free vehicle to learn on. I honestly want to learn more about the "other side of the coin" and, above all else, love cars.
Welcome from New Zealand. This is a good place to learn about how the Other Side does things (or so says the guy that uses a Nissan R33 Skyline as his company car). A word of warning: Hot rodding can be highly addictive. I know, I've been afflicted for almost all of my 57 years!
