Just recieved a pm asking what the next step for out HAMBANDY is..... Well Andys next surgury will be a 2 in 1 deal, they will remove a tumor from his spine and then fuse his spine in his upper neck. First planned to be 2 operations they figure our tough guy Andy can knock this off in one! Again.............much tougher than i would be. As news comes in i will post it.........no matter the time of the day or nite. Leon

2 or 3 days should be enough time for him to recover from the spinal surgery, as tough as he is. Go Andy!
This just in from Chris........................ Hello everyone , The doctors have stepped up the second surgery.It is confirmed That Andy will go under the knife Tommorrow Morning at 7:00 am The surgery will be the second major surgery. It is the spinal one. The approach will be through the front from the ear down to his Adams apple then they will resect the tumor out that way. The doctors said this is the only approach as the tumor is high on the front portion of his spine infiltrating the spinal cord.Surgery expected at 10 hours with no complications. The last surgery is the spinal fusion between his skull and C-7 vertabrae. It will be next friday .One week away. It was earlier Thought that the last 2 surgerys would be done together but because of the complexity and risks involved in this one they decided to hold back a week and separate them. Anyway here we go again, round two at this monster. Say a prayer for Andy as he needs them all and so do the surgeon doing the job. I will let you know how he does tommorrow by e-mail. Tomorrow as in Saturday or as in Friday because it was late last night? Either way, a new batch of prayers going up for Chris, Andy, and the Docs.
Chris sent me that email last nite so as i type he is undergoing another operation.....Friday. He will send me info tonite if all is good. Leon
Just spoke with Chris, Andy is 1/2 way through the 2nd surgury and holding steady. Chris told me to p*** along the many thanks from his family and told me something kinda funny................... Andy cant speak and has to write with a dry erase board. So the very first words Andy wrote........................."whats going on with the HAMB?". He said Andy is missing the HAMB and the news of his model A. I guess we got Andy brain washed...............or maybe he has us brain washed.............either way, i guess we are stuck with him, or he is stuck with us. Lets keep the fingers and toes crossed for the success of this surgury. Regards Leon

Glad to hear Andy is doing good so far, continued prayers and best wishes to everyone. Is he out of the second surgery yet?
Ya know...with everything else going on in my life, around the world, and Day to day B.S., hearing news like this just restores ones faith in Humanity. Good news is Good news, and I am extremely pleased that Andy is gonna kick this thing in the pants. Usually, personally, I just don't give a **** about anything. Call it bad Breeding, chalk it up to just being a jerk...whatever. But THIS is something to look forward to. I find it odd, on a personal level, that This boy, who lives in a place I have never been to, whom I have never met, means this much to me. Cool.
Leon, the last thing I want to do is to embar*** you, but without you being the eyes, ears, as well as the heart of this story we wouldn't be a bunch of "tough guys" showing our soft side for a young man that should never have had to experience any of this trama his life is taking him at this time. This just in from Chris...................i missed his call but got his e-mail to share with you....... I cant talk on the phone. Tumors out 100% No trouble. Doctor say a pure success. Andy pulled like a train. He just opened his eyes and gave me the thumbs up. Let it be known. GOD BLESS AMERICA I guess Andy is on the back stretch now and 1 operation from getting home to that ol' model "a"............................**** that means we have to pick up the pace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
