Hello all, been following the site for a while, it seems to be a good match, strictly old-school stuff. Which is particularly lacking the Mooresville-Charlotte area of NC which I reside. I'm sure everyone knows it's nascar country and that's all you get. I used to live in Portland, OR for a while and man what a jam up place that was for real hot-rodding, I miss it.

Anyway, just working on a 55 chev 210 gasser with a .125 over 283 or known as the 301. 30/30 cam, fenderwell headers, straight axle with hairpins, powerpack heads, three duce intake, pumpkin rearend. Been into hotrodding and the scene for about 11 years, started to really appreciate it when I was 16 (thus driving).

I currently collect alot of small block stuff and work on projects at night and on the weekends.

Welcome To the H.A.M.B. ....I'm just south of you i n Rockingham and share your fellings about the old-skool lacking around her BUT....Check out www.rockinghamdragway.com, for upcoming NOSTAGIA DRAGS & Car Show. Souther Slingshots should be there ...all FED and a bunch of gassers too. We just did an all 60's style Blown front motor digger and I got out the Lace,Flake,Gold leaf and stripping brush. Remember all the D/G 301 '55's at my old home track(Dover-wingdale,N.Y.) in the late sixties. Good luck with your project it'll be KOOL.
