Here are the before and after photos of an old Model AA one ton farm truck that got a crude chop, had it's original big truck frame Z'd, recieved an old Hemi engine, and then was sold to a professional hot rod shop in Detroit, MI. named Detroit Chop Shop. Now a smooth looking truck with Lincoln flathead power and how about that green paint? Makes me proud. Thanks Mark for buying my truck. Now go burn some rubber for me.

    Awesome,
Now sell it to a high dollar Rat Rodder so he can take it and have it painted flat black and wrap barbed wire around the grill shell. :D

I love the painted version with the Lincoln engine in it.

But does it seem like the front axle is way too far forward? The wheelbase seems off. I think I'd like it even more if the axle was about centered with the grille, or just a couple inches forward of it.

  8. I'm thinking black steelies and some WWFirestones, and you got something! Looks HALFASS with those Cragers and tires

Dude, you destroyed a radical rat rod. maybe some primer spots on that candy green could "rat" it up a bit.

I liked it better before, to be honest. I would have left it the way it was, and just painted it.

i like BOTH the before, and after! really, you put alot of work into the truck, and it shows. as long as you're happy, who cares! obviously you did something right if it sold already. i think i would have retained the original wheels though. awesome truck!

draglink does look dangerously close to the 'bone from that pic!

You've obviously done a lot of work on it. I think it's something to be proud of. Has a real hotrod look to it. Good Job

Should have just painted the original version.....the new version, sans paint is more of a "rat rod". Before it was more tradional than rat.

But it does looks like nice work....

I like the second version, people keep stuff about the wheels. I'd keep the wheels, but add more chrome goodies to the engine compartment....and maybe skinny whites. Regardless, it's a cool truck.

I agree. The stance and wheelbase looked right on in the first picture. The truck in the second picture just looks dis-proportioned to me.

But, it's your car, so what I think doesn't really matter a whole lot. Haha.

While the rest of these dudes are bitching about this and that, I want to know what happened to the Hemi?

    I dont like it.
The stance just pretty much sucks. The wheels really look off.
The engine and paint are cool as hell.
Would have looked better with that same flatty and a few brush strokes. Sorry I'm not normally this opinionated but It really went the wrong direction.

I bet you wear the wrong underwear too.

Your pomp probably isn't high enough either.

Turn in your "traditional" card at the office. It's official....you're outta here.

    Cragars rule.
P.S. I do agree with some of the rabble rousers on here. To be brutally honest, the stance could be tightened up a tad. The cab does seem a little far back and it probably would look better with the frontend closer to the grill if not under it.

.....I see nothing wrong with the wheels and tires.

    Did I mention Cragars rule?

Big woop. How hard is it to pop off 20 lugnuts and slap on something else? That truck is cool.
