Hey all! I've already started posting, but I thought I'd come over here and give a formal intro... My name is Steve, and i'm a designer/styling guy at Ford. Although I really don't have any interesting rides at this time, I really try to keep grounded in hot rodding. I can't even say that I'm just a hot rodder... it reaches to almost anything automotive, and sometimes beyond! My driver right now is a 2006 Mustang GT coupe... the interior is one of the first design assignments that I did at Ford. I had to buy one of my own designs! From my other posting you can see that I designed a Hot Wheels (the Ford Gangster Grin) recently that shows a little of where my passion lies in cars. I can't talk about this without mentioning my amazing wife, Amber. She went to the SEMA show with me for the unveiling of the car, and acted as my personal PR person. She steered some great interviews my way! Although I've just started posting, I've looked at this site for quite some time. Great stuff here! I love it! -Steve
I just got done checking out the Hotwheels thread. Nice work. Welcome aboard. If you are truely into the older tin, this is the place to be. Check out the events these guys put on. I look forward to bumping into you on a grassy field staring at some old tin.
Welcome to the HAMB from Farmington Hills! I love that gangster grin - a really great eye for the look you have there. Its time for me to move toward design. Its guys like you that inspire me. Been in Service Operations too long. Love to draw and do body work and look to go into the CCS Professional Automotive Modeling course soon. Thanks for sharing your talents with us here - it has far greater inspirational affect that you may realize. Keep up the great work !!
Hey everyone! Thanks for the welcome. I know the first snow has just flown for the season, but I'm anxious to get the good cruising weather back again. At least we get the good indoor car show breaks in this bad weather! -Steve
Welcom Steve! Like you, I have recently discovered the H.A.M.B. Amazing, isn't it? Keep the faith! And keep designing great stuff!
