Tech talk, magazine articles, ideas, pics, designs, are okay to post here as related to '52-'56 Ford Cars.

Thought I'd start a post with a few pics I found elsewhere that fall within our group's year/model range. Did anyone see this one?

Now that's unusual! Anybody else see something interesting to post?

The black Vicky and the Ranchero are my favorites !
As for the chrome **** , That owners should be shot for doing that to a FORD !
Now as for the other , many are very nice but I think someone should tell these people to take those HUGE Homie chrome wheels off the FORDS ! They are for those Chevs !

I have seen a couple here in Pa before and there are some really nice ones there !

You just had to put this car on here, didn' ya'. Ya' jus' couldn' leave well enough alone!

Every time I see a recent photo of this car I cringe. I've spoken out about it before, and my opinion hasn't changed.

The new owner should be shot! Then beat up and shot again just to be sure he was truly sorry for what he did to this fine old Clarkaiser-built custom, originally styled for Larry Earnst.

Rant over. Go back to whatever ya' wuz doin'.

These are archival pics I 'borrowed' from other websites. Not familiar with the story on the white '52, is there a link to its history? As you know I'm not big into wild customs (altho' if given a choice I'll look at anything Ford, vice Chevy, MOPAR, etc. . . but that's just me) so had I seen something about it I likely wouldn't have spent a lot of time reading it.

BTW, I went window shopping today. . . Those new F150s sure are lookin' good!

I have only one real point to make: This car was so perfect when it was originally built...

...why &%^$ with it during the restoration? Does the new owner honestly think it's better now than it was then? I hope not.:mad::mad:

    Okay. Rant over...again...I think.

The turquoise and white Victoria with the Keystones was my favorite.

I had those on my 56 Vicky in the late 60's in high school.

I visited my buddy up in Anoka Minnesota this weekend and we caught the local car show. It was HOT! If you get a chance to get up to the area on a Saturday evening, you won't regret it. Here are a couple of the Fords:

Here's a '54 Ford heavily customized, that was at our local show in June. A real crowd pleaser, it was hard to get any better pics of it:

Scott... I hope you'll scan the rest of that Popular Science article. Not only is it very interesting from a technical point of view, but also the writer would have been called "a real L7" in my day. (Anybody besides me know what that means?) The text reads in a very dated fashion and is a real window into the automotive world of 1954. I'd really enjoy reading the rest of it.

    Thanks in advance!

    :)

Hey Eric- yep, I noticed that I excluded 2 pages by accident. I'll try to get them scanned in and inserted in the proper place. Now that I have my scanning and uploading procedure down, I will be posting a bunch of stuff out of the little books :). Right now I am in the middle of trying to procure a sweet '48 Chev that I found locally for my buddy- so it may be a little bit.
