I have a 1954 Willys Aero that I am converting to a streetrod. I have a modified crate 350, BW T-10 4 speed, and Chevy 10 bolt rear end. The rear lug pattern is 5 on 4-3/4". The existing 9" drums on the Willys are 4 on 4-1/2". I would like to keep as much as I can withought making any major changes. Does anyone know of a 9" drum with 5 on 4-3/4" lugs that I can put on the existing spindles and backing plates by getting the correct inner and outer bearings? I have some extra drums and have considered redrilling them. It would be nice to see if something would bolt up as is. I know some are going to say "go discs". Maybe some day, but I am on a limited budget right now.
    Thanks

  2. Cheapest is probably to just redrill your drums to the new pattern. You might find GM drums, but you would need to measure a lot.
