Hot Rods Front brake set up

    I don't remember where I got this picture but in looking at it it looks like disc brakes hidden by a backing plate. Am I seeing the right? If so is this something that is available or is it a one off design. I'm not looking at doing this but it did make me curious.

  2. So-Cal speed shop sells them , it also includes a dummy finned buick drum to cover it up

    Looks like the SoCal brake. It's basically a wilwood setup with the rotor clocked up to 12 o'clock, a stamped stainless backing plate, and a cast aluminum cover that resembles the buick finned drum. There is also supposed to be a cast stainless air intake that bolts to the backing plate.
