Have slop in the front doors due to wear at the hinges. Want to get the replacement parts before I pull the hinges. However, I can't see back in there well + lots of paint. So need advice from someone that has had a 55/6 Fairlane hinge out/apart. Found one supplier that sells an "oversize" hinge pin that is supposed to compensate for wear. They do not sell a bushing. Another vendor sells a kit for a 57 - 59 full size Ford and they think it may also fit a 55/6. It includes a stock size pin and a bushing. I cannot see a bushing, just a pin, and the vendor doesn't know for sure if the 55/6 had a bushing. I have not found any vendor selling a bushing for a 55/6 Fairlane. Is there a bushing? Pin or bushing parts source?
