front drum brake options

Hi, I have built a few cars using `41-`48 front brakes on drop axles, but I always have a hard time getting parts where I am (drums, shoes, etc) (and they are expensive!) so I was hoping you guys could give me ideas for other brake drums setups that I could put on a drop axle... any ideas....
machining is not aproblem... I just need ideas of donors that could be used...

 

The 53 to 56 F-100 conversion is real popular and basically a bolt on.
Plus you can make them self adjusting real easy.

There are no scrapyards with that vintage of parts around here....Im looking for something a bit more modern (`60s and up ) so I can find parts here...
